Iapetus is more than the name of an ancient ocean that once covered the present-day Champlain Valley. As a concept, it is the beginning of a story hundreds of millions of years old. It is as much about the past as it is about the future. Just as geology induces transition over time, Iapetus serves as an evolution for us as winegrowers in how we pursue our working relationship with wine. It is a shifting of time, of scale, and way of thinking. We are not dogmatic in our principles, but rather endeavor to continually experiment, discover, and improve our stewardship of this storied land. In this way, Iapetus is just a slide in this continuous film, a photograph of a moment now and in the years to come. Iapetus is wine.
Alluvium is a sensation, capturing the hearts of all who try her. Alluvium seeks to redefine the depth of a rosé by using our unique cold climate grapes in tandem with low intervention wine making practices.
A zippy, bright, naturally sparkling white wine. Serve chilled and savor by the poolside with friends or in a hot tub after a ski. The body is sleek and fun, like a beach day captured in a bottle.
Like a vibrant plunge into a chilly berry pond, every sip is an exhilarating splash of freshness and flamboyance. A naturally sparkling dry red wine, effervescently crafted in the Pet Nat style.
A fresh, semi-carbonic red wine akin to a Beaujolais Nouveau but with a distinctly Vermont assemblage. Light-bodied, but with a silky smooth weight kept fresh by medium acidity. Made from a blend of whole cluster Marquette and our other cold-hardy Vermont-grown red grape varieties.

Unlike their cultured counterparts, which are more like choreographed dancers following a routine, wild yeast brings spontaneity and an unpredictable choreography to fermentation. A reflection of our unique ecosystem in every sip.
A study in structure, new assemblage, and a celebration of cold-hardy grape varietals. Forged from primarily Petite Pearl with a splash of Marquette, Terrane seeks to live up to it's name - a new paradigm emerges, a step away from traditional winemaking and an exploration of something new and different.
Made from 100% La Crescent grapes grown sustainably in our Vermont vineyards, our skin contact “orange” wine is delicate yet intense. Like all natural or low-intervention wines, it shrugs off notions of sameness – each vintage, even every sip, offers something different and allows you to experience the full expression of our Vermont-grown orange wine.
